Today is another day...

What do you do when your neighbours start suggesting over and over, over the years, that you go on blogger: do nothing?...which is what i've done for years...and keep bending their ears; or...test the system? Well; i've done the former so now its time to test the system and see just what blogger will bring:

I'll start off with a few things I enjoy: love boogie boarding @ the beach, walks, festivals and just being outdoors generally. Love movies, push-bike riding, roller skating, music; playing guitar and/or piano when time permits. Also love reading and writing short stories/poems when get the chance. Enjoy getting out and about, travelling (part of me is still trying to return from a big trip to Europe in May this year!! and now i have the travel bug.) I try to have a healthy, balanced lifestyle as much as possible. love a laugh and taking time out to relax.

I have a teenaged son who occupies alot of my time and thoughts, so I'm kinda a milf :). I can be pretty shy and reserved at first. Enjoy meeting people but this is brand new territory and maybe a couple tads out of my comfort zone! But as they say; what the hey...

Would like to get to know someone slowly ,over time, just as friends; throw a few fun outings into the equation; and see what happens. If you think we have things in common drop me a line.

Hello There...

Hello there,

So you've clicked on my box? Sit back, relax and enjoy the read.

After spending the last seven months working on a cruise ship, the twenty three year old business graduate decided to return to land. While the travels were glamorous, she missed the finer things in life, a coffee at Starbucks, renting a blockbuster video and a decent sized dating pool larger than the 250 men onboard (only 4 of which were actually datable)

With a sense of humor, outgoing personality and above average intelligence, the young woman was on the lookout for more than a well written profile. With a picture being worth 1000 words, it wasn't about the accompanying description. It was all about how the suitor made contact. Smiles were one thing but she wanted a real man – a go-getter. Someone who took the initiative to send the first message.

With that she posted her profile and let her potential prince charming do the rest.
